Hello lovely! Hope you are having a soulful Sunday. Have you been prepping this week? Are you ready? Yasssss! The ‘SHINE Crazier’ Challenge starts tomorrow!

I for one am ready to make some real progress with my goal, which is to track my food and water intake, and I have been ‘practicing’ this past week and entering EVERYTHING into myfitnesspal app.
I have to say, I am LOVING this app! as it is helping me to be much more mindful about what I am consuming, and how much farther I need to walk my dog in order to eat one cup of Barbara’s Cheese Puffs while I re-watch the Game of Thrones series in anticipation of the final season (coming April 14th!!!!! ER MY GAWD!!!!)
…ok – back on topic.
But you know, even with nailing this app thing, I think I could do better.
How I could do better…
I think I need to ratchet things up a notch by adding another daily goal and it is going to be…
DA DA DAHHHHHH
Eat a salad or vegetables every day for lunch.
You might be saying Whaaaat? That is so easy! I already do this every day Elizabeth.
But for me, this is a tough one!
First off, I don’t like eating cold salads or anything cold really in the winter, and even though it is March here in beautiful BC, we still have freakin snow on the ground! It was 3 degrees at 11am this morning- certainly not warm!
But I’m gonna do it, even if I have to warm that salad or veggies up!
It’s going to be good, its going to empower me, its going to help me get to the next version I have of myself- which is healthier, stronger, more energetic and leaner.
And at the risk of sounding like a Weight Watchers promo lol , I also would like to mention that I am working on non health & wellness goals as well, and just this past week started taking a business course which is pretty much the gold standard for online businesses.
Not to mention working on various goals related to my children, and particularly Mr. Oliver who will be making the challenging transition from elementary school to high school next year and that changes in regards to this big step are starting this month…
So I will be busy! 🙂
But that is fine because I know that the lovely ladies in the SHINE group on FB will keep me accountable!

So the ‘SHINE Crazier’ goal setting challenge kicks off tomorrow (Monday) – and it is dang easy!
About the challenge
Pick any goal you aspire to; health & wellness, spiritual, business, financial, creativity related, a relationship goal etc…. and find one action you can take every day until March 31st that moves you closer to your future vision.
This could be things like;
- eating a salad a day… like I will be doing
- exercising for 30 minutes a day
- practicing a random act of kindness towards a stranger each day
- reading a chapter of a business book each night
- doing a daily meditation or gratitude practice
- having a daily ‘sit spot’ in nature for 20 minutes a day, where you do nothing but sit
- going through one file a day in your home office and shred the papers you no longer need in an effort to declutter
Then keep track of your progress – on a calendar, or via notes, and submit your progress to me, and presto! You will be entered into our draw for the final fun prize!
Have you really been truthful with yourself?
If you feel like you haven’t been true to yourself regarding the future you aspire to, and you haven’t been following through with goals that you may have set for yourself back in January, if you feel like you know you could do better, but you have been unfocussed, or even, dare I say it? lazy…
…if you know deep down, that you are capable of more than what you have been showing the world, then this SHINE Crazier challenge is a perfect way to get that added hit of motivation and get yourself over the hump, and to the next level.
You know what I am talkin’ bout right?
There is ALWAYS at least one area in our lives where we could do a little better.
So come join us and start the work week off with a BANG this Monday morning by joining the SHINE Crazier challenge! You cannot beat public accountability for getting your butt in gear! 🙂
