Happy Sunday!

As you may know I have an in -person workshop coming up on Sunday, January 22nd for local women (Ocean Park, BC).

The workshop is based on concepts from the amazing book ‘Love Warrior’ by Glennon Doyle Melton. This is a book that covers it ALL: parenting, marriage, addiction, bulimia, alcoholism, pornography, infidelity, sexuality, and spirituality. Whew!

I have never read a book like this one before, especially one that goes so deep and takes you on such a painful but beautiful, and authentic journey.

In today’s post I have a short video for you where I talk about what inspired me to do this workshop and how I want whomever attends to walk out feeling, and I have included the workshop schedule for the day too (new!) and a link to the full workshop details (bottom of page).

‘Love Warrior’ Coaching Workshop Schedule

9:30:-Coffee (of course!) and Welcome remarks

10:00 -Grounding meditation

10:15- ‘Love Warrior’ major themes/ take aways/ ‘a-ha moments (‘brutiful’, hitting ‘rock bottom’, the power in pain, ’the representative’. ‘writing yourself well’ etc.…  What aspect of the book had the most impact on you?

*If you haven’t read the book that’s ok as I will touch on the universal themes and how they may apply to your life, and reflect on specific nuggets of wisdom from ‘LW’ (Glennon’s gold!)

11:00- Refreshment break

11:10 -Exercise: The power of story- What stories are you telling yourself? Are they serving you? What about the shadow side of your self? Your shadow side has wisdom too! I will lead you through an exercise guaranteed to have you seeing your story (and next chapter of your life) with fresh eyes and renewed motivation!

12:00-12:30 -Delicious lunch and movement break (a brisk walk or maybe some gentle yoga or walk the labyrinth…TBD)

12:45- Why we hide. How to manage your ‘Representative’ (social self / the ‘mask’ you sometimes wear in public)- We will look at ways to strengthen your authentic self (true self) while dissolving your ‘representative’ so as to create a more authentic life.

2:00 -2:15- Refreshment break

2:30 -Exercise: Get reacquainted with your inner ‘Warrior’!  Exercise to build on your strengths and improve your confidence / courage.

3:00-Exercise: Moving to action- creating a plan and applying this  ‘Love Warrior’ wisdom in the ‘real world’.  ‘Life is short’ – Exercise to improve your clarity around what you TRULY want.
